The School

Welcome to Black Belt America of Staten Island, NY. Our professional staff of Black Belt Instructors, along with their Assistants, are here to guide students toward greater self-confidence and discipline as they improve balance, coordination, flexibility and reactions.

Our program gradually guides students to increased confidence, mental discipline, self-defense capabilities and more. It is a fun way to get in shape and stay in shape. The curriculum is carefully selected by highly motivated instructors to ensure age appropriateness.

Our goal for every student is to help him/her earn the Black Belt rank. We create an environment in which the student develops confidence through accomplishing high, yet attainable, goals.

 

Children will learn the positive benefits of self-discipline and confidence as we build on their positive attitudes and honest character. Because a structure of respect is built in, our system, children develop the ability to listen, learn, and achieve within a positive, healthy environment.

Classes at Black Belt America Staten Island end with group discussions

and role-playing exercises.

We touch on life lessons and discuss alternate resolutions to some of the

issues children face today.

These issues are discussed in a non-threatening, proactive way.

Children pay close attention as we explore topics that include:
